The short version

Every calculation on this site runs inside your browser. The molecular weights, sequences, absorbance readings and volumes you type are never transmitted anywhere, never logged, and never stored. There is no account system and no database.

What is collected

The site itself collects nothing. It is a set of static files. However, two third parties are involved in delivering it:

GitHub Pages hosts the files and, like any web server, processes your IP address and user-agent in order to send you the page. See the GitHub Privacy Statement.
Your browser may cache the pages locally. Clearing your browser cache removes them.

No analytics package is loaded. There is no tracking pixel, no session recording and no fingerprinting.

Advertising

This site currently carries no advertising and sets no advertising cookies.

Cookies

The calculators themselves set no cookies and use no local storage.

Children

This site is a reference tool aimed at students and professionals. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. The full history is public in the site's repository.
